History of Jageshwar

There isn’t a definitive date of the the Jageshwar temple group however, as per the ASI they are part of the post-Gupta and premedieval periods and are thought to be around 2500 years old. The temples are situated in the time period of to the eighth century (early Katyuri Dynasty) to the 18th century (Chand Dynasty).
