Auli huddled in the Himalayan Mountains of Uttarakhand has one of the longest slopes of Asia for skiing. The slope is 3 KM long and opens up many other thrills. A glorious state-of-the-art and India’s longest cable car ride here gives you some great views of Himalayan peak such as Nanda Devi (7817 m), known as India’s second highest peak, Kamet (7756 m), the Mana Parvat (7273 m), and the Dunagiri (7066 m).
Popular as The Land of Gods, Uttarakhand displays a dramatic terrain of lovely lakes, oak forest, snaking rivers, mountains and rising Himalayan peaks. In summer Auli is most relaxing destination for peace lovers. You can reach Auli by driving through the holy towns of Haridwar, Rishikesh and along Ganges. A large number of tourists visit these destinations in both summers and winters.
Indicative Timings
08.00 am: Breakfast
09.00 am: Introduction with instructors and Briefing, equipment fitting and check
09.45 am to 01.00 pm Lessons start & Skiing
1.00pm to 02.30: Lunch break and relaxation
2:30pm to 3.30 pm: Skiing/Sightseeing
Note: You can opt for snow-boarding instead of skiing on a particular day at an additional cost of Rs. 1500/- per person. Kindly make and confirm such requests in advance.
